Peachey left the side of the roadway and hit a tree, then flipped the vehicle onto its roof. Police said Peachey was passing the other vehicle when she noticed a vehicle in the other lane coming toward her and swerved to avoid a head-on collision. The crash occurred when Deanna Peachey, 52, of McClure, was traveling in the area of Rapp Lane in a 2006 Toyota 4Runner and attempted to pass a vehicle that was traveling in the same direction and lane. 19 – Police report investigating a one-vehicle accident on Back Maitland Road, 49 feet east of Truck Lane.

The accused, Betty McConaughey, 48, of Mount Union, was cited for harassment of a known 21-year-old female, of Mount Union. 22 – Police report responding to a physical altercation at 141 Old Pike Road, in Wayne Township. The identity of the person(s) involved was withheld. 14 – Police report a PFA violation occurred at Tom’s Gas Station, in Armagh Township. The suspect was also reported to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia. Police said the suspect, a 38-year-old male, was stopped for a traffic violation and subsequently taken for a blood draw.

23 – Police report investigating a DUI in Mifflin County. Boozel was cited for disorderly conduct through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. He stayed and continued to make a disturbance in the store for about 20 to 30 minutes before leaving. According to a news release, Cole Boozel, 22, of Mount Union, became irate after the cashier told him she could not make him a burrito. 17 - Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown was contacted by a cashier working at the Mount Union Minit Mart, Wayne Township, in regard to a customer who was yelling and would not leave the store. Trevor Rodriguez, 23, of Lewistown, said someone punctured the front right tire of his F250 truck while he was working. 16 - Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown were contacted for a report from criminal mischief in the parking lot of Phillips Ultrasound, Armagh Township, according to a news release. Charges against the male are filed through Magisterial District Judge Jack E. 16 - The incident occurred when a 27-year-old male, of Mount Union, got into a verbal fight with a 19-year-old woman, also from Mount Union at 36 Poplar St., Kistler Borough, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown. He has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property. It was discovered that Young stole the vehicle and was taken into police custody. 21, police were contacted by Pennsylvania State Police in King of Prussia that the vehicle was found on the turnpike and was being repaired by Damian Young, 25, of Lewistown. Investigation revealed the victim left the keys in the car when they went into the store and the car was unlocked.

20 - The Lewistown Borough Police Department was dispatched to the Sunoco on South Main Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. Charges are pending the results of an investigation. After several attempts to knock on the window, the driver, Ryan Paladino, 19, of Lewistown, was woken and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. 19 - A Lewistown Borough Police Officer was on patrol in the area of North Brown and Market streets, when he observed a vehicle to be sitting a the red light with its left turn signal on and did not move when the light turned green, according to a news release. Woy was charged with criminal trespass, defiant trespass, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct and was placed in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility. Woy had broken into a downstairs apartment and was refusing to leave.
